Flamingo (Phoenicopterus missourienses plasticus)

Flamingo (Phoenicopterus missourienses plasticus), a rare sighting on our farm.   Libby does some “babysitting” intermittently.   They like to swim in the pool and check the bird nest boxes.   Libby imported this bird for “camp Libby”.

Eastern Wood Pewee (Contopus virens)

The Eastern Wood Pewee is common on our farm.  They sometimes follow me around as I am mowing trails to see what kind of insects I stir up.    His song sounds like his name ….pee-a-wee.
