Oxeye Daisy (Luecanthemum vulgare) 5-24-2016

  It rained today.   I took this picture this evening along our roadside.    This is an Oxeye Daisy.   Very common and not native to North America, but  pretty, widespread and naturalized.

Snake Skin in Carolina Wren Nest 5-22-2016

This Carolina Wren has added some snake skin to the nest.   I see this pretty regularly in Tufted Titmouse nests as well.   I am not sure why they do this.
